Create snippets for the things you type all the time, like email intros, links, and repeated phrases. Just say them out loud, and Letterly expands them instantly.

You can now use Letterly Dictation with rewrite options on your Mac. You can pick any rewrite option available in Letterly – or create your own to match your style. Just speak in any app on your Mac, and Letterly will insert the already cleaned-up, rewritten text straight into that app.

You can now keep working on an existing note – whether it’s the original transcription or a rewrite – and have new text added right into it. Just tap Continue recording at the top of the note settings, speak as usual, and Letterly will append the transcription to the note you’re working on.

There’s now a library with lots of new rewrite options, so you can pick the ones that match your style. You can also remove any options you don’t use from the Rewrite panel.

You can now remove rewrite options you don’t use. This way, your Rewrites panel only shows what you really use. You can also copy and customize any existing rewrite option.

You can now customize some of the rewrite options from the Rewrite Options Gallery. You can set up quick adjustments like spelling preferences or heading formatting. If you need more control, you can also edit the underlying prompts for specific rewrite options.

We’ve added a handy toolbar that appears whenever the keyboard is open on your phone. Now you can access your favorite note actions right away – no need to hide the keyboard to reach the buttons from the note settings.

If you already have an audio file you want to transcribe in Letterly, there are two easy ways to do it. - Either tap + on the main screen and choose Upload audio. - Or in another app (like Voice Memos or WhatsApp) where you have the audio, find the Share option and send it to Letterly.

If you long-press the Rewrite button inside a note, you can choose whether to rewrite the current version or the original one.

There's a new button in the top left of the main screen to choose how you want to sort your notes: by Last updated or Creation date, ascending or descending. Whatever works best for you :)

If you've added a rewrite option to favorites, it'll now show up right inside the note - super handy to use it in one tap.

Here are some cool updates: - You can now tap the rewrite name at the top of the note to open a menu and pick the version you want (no need to swipe if you prefer not to). - Double-tap the rewrite name to jump straight back to the original text. - Version names are more descriptive now. For example, "Linkedin Post → Spanish" means the text was first rewritten using the Linkedln Post rewrite option, then translated into Spanish.

Want to listen to your recordings? Open any note and tap the play button. You can listen at faster speeds, and if you leave the note list, playback keeps going. This feature is available for all new recordings and some of your previous ones.

Your new recordings are now kept forever - you can listen to them even years later.

Free up space by deleting audio from your phone. Recordings remain available in the app thanks to server storage.

You can now download recordings from any device - not just the one you recorded on.

After you start rewriting, you can leave the note or app - AI will finish the job without you.

You asked, we delivered! Now you can make recordings up to 90 minutes long — perfect for meetings, lectures, or long deep thinking sessions with Letterly.

You can now turn Multi-speaker mode on or off during recording. When it’s on, your transcript will be divided by speaker (like Speaker 1, Speaker 2…), making it easier to follow. If you forget to enable it, you can still change this setting later in the note.

Connect Letterly with over 8,000 apps via Zapier. This lets you quickly send your texts anywhere you want. Just use the Actions button inside any note to set it up.

Inside each note, you'll find an Actions button. With it, you can set up a webhook and send your notes anywhere — to Google Docs, Notion, or any other tool.

To keep things organized, you can now add tags to your notes and archive them.

As soon as you finish recording, a title will automatically appear a few seconds after the transcription. If you'd like, you can edit it manually.

No worries if you get a call during recording. The text will be safe, and you can come back to it later.

You can choose your preferred interface language in settings: English, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Thai. By default, it matches your browser.

You can select multiple notes on the main screen and delete them all at once.

Find your notes using the words you remember. The feature doesn’t support synonyms or related meanings yet, so type the specific keywords to find what you need.

Now you can add your own custom rewrite options and rewrite texts using them.

You can now use Letterly on your computer. Visit web.letterly.app and give it a try! All your notes from the mobile and web versions will be synced as long as you're signed in on both.

If you have a Mac, download Letterly from the Mac App Store. All your notes will automatically sync between the mobile and Mac versions once you're signed in on both.

If you want to write a greeting, just pick one of our new rewrite options from the Holiday Greetings category.

In the settings, you can create an account to save your notes and synchronize them between devices.

Now you can select the default language in settings.

Now each note displays not only the date but also the time.
