What you get
ChatGPT supports MCP connectors, which means you can give it access to your Letterly notes. Once connected, ChatGPT can search your entire note library, rewrite notes using your custom options, and even create new notes from your conversation.
It’s like having your voice note library as part of ChatGPT’s memory — always available, always searchable.
Setup
- Open chatgpt.com
- Click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner
- Go to Settings → Connectors (or Beta features → Connectors)
- Click Add connector
- Enter the MCP endpoint:
- Save and sign in to your Letterly account
- Start a new conversation and ask about your notes
Note: MCP connectors in ChatGPT may be available as a beta feature. If you don’t see the Connectors option, check Settings → Beta features and enable it first.

Tips
- Start conversations by mentioning notes. ChatGPT will automatically use the Letterly tools when you reference your notes.
- Use Custom GPTs. You can create a Custom GPT that always has access to Letterly, so you don’t need to set up the connector in each conversation.
- Combine with other tools. ChatGPT can use Letterly alongside web search, DALL-E, and other tools in the same conversation.
